DDC, a data equipment company, introduced the programmability, system health diagnosis and prediction data, and high power density of its 16 channel, 48VDC, 238A solid-state power controller with compact and robust military grade exterior dimensions.The 48VDC SSPC distribution unit (RP-2016371X) of DDC can distribute and control up to 16 independent 48 Vdc loads, with maximum loads of 8, 10, and 25 Amp, significantly saving size, weight, power consumption, and cost.Compared with mechanical switches, circuit breakers, and relays, DDC's SSPC has high efficiency and can significantly save SWaP-C, thereby saving space and expanding functionality of other components.Compared to larger mechanical alternatives, these compact, high-density power control solutions can reduce power volume by 7 times and power weight by 5 times, thereby reducing space consumption and fuel costs while expanding mission scope.By reducing power consumption by 70% and saving energy through intelligent load shedding and priority allocation, SWaP-C can be further saved.It can save inventory costs as these distribution units can be programmed to support multiple platforms and changing task requirements.
