Installation method of circuit breaker - Weikewei -12 years of aviation experience
There are multiple methods for installing and installing circuit breakers, each of which can meet specific requirements. The installation methods can be divided into the following categories:
58彩票Fixed installation: The most economical installation is to connect the circuit breaker to the load frame and fix it in the cabinet with bolts. This installation method also allows the circuit breaker to be installed from the front. These devices are reliable and typically have a rated voltage of up to 600 volts. The power supply provided by wires or segmented busbars needs to be turned off before the circuit breaker can be removed and replaced.
58彩票Removable installation type: Removable circuit breakers are another installation method that can be installed from the front, with a moderate price and good reliability. This two-part installation has a base that is bolted and securely connected to the frame, into which a circuit breaker with insulating components is inserted for electrical coordination. The same applies to voltages of 600 volts or lower, and this installation method allows for easy disassembly and replacement of circuit breakers, but requires the load to be turned off first.
Drawout mounted circuit breaker: Drawout mounted circuit breakers, like pull-out circuit breakers, have a two-part design - a bolted hard wired base with an electrically compatible plug-in circuit breaker. The main difference is that these circuit breakers can be used at all voltages and they are the most expensive models. Pull out circuit breakers are interlocked to ensure safety, so when a single unit is removed, the power will automatically shut off, which is the opposite of disconnecting power for all circuit breakers installed in large chassis.
These units are also quite large and bulky, and their weight makes them difficult to operate manually. For installation and disassembly, it is usually moved using jack screws and then suspended on supports that may bear additional weight. It can be replaced without turning on the power, but for testing and dismantling, the load must be turned off.
