Aviation SSPC-Weikewei-GJB9001 certification
58彩票The demand for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power distribution systems in aircraft is constantly increasing, which can provide lightweight and low loss power distribution. The challenges associated with HVDC distribution systems include improving reliability and reducing the size and weight of critical components, including electrical load control units (ELCU) or remote power controllers (RPC) for load control and feeder protection, as well as main bus switch contactors. Traditional electromechanical current interruption devices have poor reliability due to arcing generated during repeated closing and opening operations, and are typically slow in isolating faults with potential high penetration energy, which directly affects system safety.
Solid state power controller(SSPC)Technology has high reliability, "soft" switching characteristics, fast response time, and the ability to facilitate advanced load management and other aircraft functions, making it a modern alternative to electromechanical contactors and circuit breakers. Although SSPCs with rated currents less than 20A have been widely used in aircraft secondary power distribution systems, replacing thermal circuit breakers, their application in aircraft HVDC primary power distribution systems still requires further technological maturity. This article proposes a solution for the use of HVDC power distribution in aircraftSSPCSystem solutions to potential problems and challenges, such as high voltage drop, leakage, "fault short circuit" due to SSPC, lightning strikes, and high surge currents to capacitive loads. The test results based on 270VDC, 120A SSPC prototype were also introduced.
