The US Navy continues to upgrade the MQ-4C drone to the 'Integrated Functional Capability -4' configuration
On June 16, 2022, the United States Naval Air Systems Command, located in Patuxent River, Maryland, awarded a contract amendment (P00039) totaling $20.467939 million to Nog Systems' San Diego, California division, revising a previously awarded fixed price (constant target) contract (N0001917C0018) to provide additional hours and materials to integrate production engineering change proposals and upgrade the MQ-4C "Treden"UAVThe production assets of the system (B13-B15) have been transformed into the US Navy's "Integrated Functional Capability 4.0" multi alarm configuration. The second party will perform the work specified in the contract in San Diego (43.6%), Palmdale, California (37.9%), Chantilly, Virginia (7.6%), Medford, New York (3.2%), Salt Lake City, Utah (2.3%), Verona, Wisconsin (1.8%), New City, North Dakota (1.4%), and multiple other locations on the mainland of the United States (2.2%), with an estimated completion date of April 2023.
