Seven services are publicly available for the first time, and Beidou once again proves China's strength!
In 1993, the Chinese merchant ship "Galaxy" was forcibly detained by the United States in the Indian Ocean on the grounds of carrying prohibited items. At that time, because the United States turned off GPS, we were unable to locate merchant ships and send rescue teams. This incident can be said to be a shame that our generation will never forget.
To this end, China has begun to work hard in the aerospace field and developed the Beidou satellite. The successful launch of "Beidou-3" not long ago marks the successful conclusion of Beidou networking, which is a major event for the world and a milestone for China's aerospace technology. This means that we no longer have to worry about GPS being a moth in critical moments. However, most people actually have a vague understanding of the services provided by the Beidou system, which is normal as the official has not made it clear until recently.
According to the overseas website of People's Daily, at the recent press conference on the large-scale application of Beidou, the spokesperson stated that since the "Beidou-3 Global System" was officially put into operation in July last year, its service performance has been world leading and it has continued to operate stably.
Currently, the Beidou system can provide users with seven services: ground-based augmentation, satellite based augmentation, precise single point positioning, regional short message, global short message, international search and rescue, and positioning, navigation, and timing.
It is important to know that these seven services of Beidou 3 are open for the first time, so it is no accident that Beidou 3 will follow the the Belt and Road and expand bilateral cooperation and exchanges with Russia, Africa, Pakistan and other countries in this field, so as to encourage relevant competitive enterprises to combine the satellite navigation application needs of overseas markets to borrow ships and travel by car through exchanges between countries, and continue to promote the development of Beidou applications.
For the achievements of Beidou today, it can only be said that it is really not easy. In the field of aerospace, we are facing repeated technological "encirclement" from foreign countries, but Chinese researchers have always been more and more courageous, achieving significant breakthroughs one after another.
In the past two years, the high-tech blockade imposed by the United States on China has become increasingly severe. But in the end, as evaluated by the American media Forbes website, every time China achieves success in a new field, it is a failure of Western technology's "encirclement".
This year, in the field of science and technology in major countries, we have not only completed and put into operation the Beidou-3 satellite navigation system, but also successfully landed a new generation of manned spacecraft test ships, marking China's official entry into the ranks of nuclear power technology countries. The "Hualong-1" has also been successfully developed, and a series of major scientific breakthroughs are sending a signal. Faced with the so-called "sanctions", China will not only not fall, but will also strive to make more breakthroughs in core technologies, allowing the world to see the rise of Chinese technology.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the Beidou-3 satellite navigation system has been fully built and opened up, which means that ASEAN countries will use a more stable, accurate, and reliable Beidou system.
At present, 22 countries have joined the China ASEAN Satellite Navigation International Alliance. After a period of stable operation, China's development in the South China Sea is bound to become more stable, and the interference of the United States will be completely out of reach.
The Beidou system will not only bring us huge benefits, but also become China's "anchor" in Southeast Asia. Of course, the United States will definitely not give up its efforts to win over Southeast Asian countries, so we still cannot be careless.
