At 8:19 am on July 19th, China successfully launched 10 sets of Remote Sensing 30 satellites into orbit using the Long March 2C carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellites entered their designated orbit and the launch mission was a complete success.
The Long March 2C carrier rocket is a room temperature liquid carrier rocket developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The total length of the rocket is about 43 meters, the takeoff mass is about 242 tons, and the maximum carrying capacity of a 500 kilometer sun synchronous orbit is 2 tonsIn this mission, the Chang-2C rocket was equipped with a fairing parachute control system and adopted the high-altitude parachute opening scheme for the first time to further verify the fairing landing area control technology. The Chang-2C rocket successfully launched all 10 sets of remote sensing satellites into the designated orbit with high precision, with a success rate of 100%, fully demonstrating the strength of the "gold medal rocket".
